meeting on 3/13/2011
We had a great meeting at the Aders' home. Kevin led the Bible study. This was his first time leading our group and he did a fantastic job. We have one more lesson in Isaiah and Kevin plans to lead us again at our next meeting on 3/27.
Our Sunday evening meetings have been going well, but are a little rushed. We are going to brainstorm and see if we meet find a way to have more time together as a group -- 45-60 minutes is not long enough.
We will plan to have a fellowship event in the Spring.

Our first Sunday small group meeting
We had a wonderful meeting this past Sunday as we continued our study of Isaiah. We learned from Isaiah 40 about how temporary this life is, yet how God's Word is forever and we can place our hope in Him. It was good to learn how God is at work in one-another's lives and to learn from and pray for each other.
Our next meeting will be on 2/27 at 6:30pm and we will be meeting at the Aders' home.

Off to a good start in 2011
Our small group is off to good start in 2011. We met twice in January and we are beginning to deepen our friendship as we pray and study God's Word together.
Scheduling has been a challenge and starting February, we will be moving our meeting times to the second and fourth Sundays at 6;30pm. This will help avoid many scheduling conflicts.

New Years Eve
Three fold cord enjoyed a fun time together New Years Eve. We had good food, games, and a relaxing time together as we said goodbye to 2010 and welcomed in 2011. Thanks to everyone for bringing the tasty food and especially to Jeff and Diana for again opening your home to our group.
Our next meeting will be on Friday, 1-7-2011 at the Phillips' home.

Meeting on 12-21-2010
Three-fold Cord had another wonderful small group meeting tonight. We studied the first chapter of Isaiah together and prayed for each other. Several members were not able to attend due to Holiday plans and illness and we made sure to pray for our members who couldn't attend.
We will be having a fun New Years Eve Party at the Phillips' home. We won't be having a Bible study, but will enjoy food, games, and good times.
Even if you can only stay an hour or two, please come. Three-fold cord isn't the same without you!
Have a blessed Christmas.
